After a successful race weekend on the 15th and 16th October, we can confirm
that records were broken and that the grand total raised for Cancer Research
UK was £1000! So thank you to all those who took part in the race and ceilidh
and helped reach this grand total. A brief race report can be found on our
blog.
Loch Tayside Race Weekend 2012
The dates for next years race have been confirmed with the 13th and 14th
October 2012 being our preferred dates. Again ourselves at Lochtayside will be
organising the event with all money raised going to Cancer Research UK.
The entry fee will cover both races with a great, free lunch after Saturdays race.
Put the date in your diary as we're going to still have the great ceilidh dance on
the Saturday night in the Maclaren Hall with a buffet supper, tickets £15.00
and all profits being donated to Cancer Research UK.
Registration for both races will take place at the Maclaren Hall in Killin, between 11.30am and 12.30pm. On Saturday please allow 15 minutes to get from Killin to the Ben Lawers car park (race venue). For more information

Equipment
In accordance with Scottish Hill Runners rules competitors must carry the following:
- Windproof whole body cover.
- Other body cover appropriate for the weather conditions.
- Map and compass suitable for navigating the course and the ability to use them. Ordnance Survey 51 and OS378 are the local maps.
- Whistle.
